U.S.–Israel–Iran Conflict Intensifies, Canada Move to Evacuate Citizens
The war between the U.S., Israel, and Iran has now entered the sixth day of massive escalation, with over 1,300 people killed in the region, including civilians and six American soldiers. President Donald Trump said that he should be involved in the selection of next leader of Iran. He signaled the policy change in Iran after the strikes that killed the country's supreme leader.
In the meantime, Israel has increased the activity in Lebanon, with tens of thousands of people fleeing towards Syria as it prepares for an all-out assault on the capital, Beirut. The war is now quickly spilling over to include international powers, with Canada and other European countries deploying their military assets and planning emergency evacuations for their citizens caught in the crossfire.
